Highly Qualified Teacher of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
I have an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies from Exeter University and I have gone through the strict assessment involved in gaining my Certificate of Competence in Teaching Mindfulness Based Approaches from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. I have taught the 8-week mindfulness course over 100 times both to groups and 1-1 and worked with a wide variety of people from all ages and backgrounds.
I am also a supervisor for other teachers, both on Exeter University's MSc programme in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapies, through the Mindfulness Network and privately. I recently taught for a research trial at Sussex University and am teaching school-teachers as part of the MYRIAD trial at Oxford Centre for Mindfulness, as well as mentoring trainee mindfulness teachers for Bangor University's Teacher Training Pathway.
I have been practising mindfulness since 1997 and have seen myself becoming calmer, happier and more emotionally stable over that time.
I run courses in various venues in Brighton, including Anahata in Kemp Town.
