Mindfulness classes

At the moment I'm unable to run any group classes in person, but I am offering 1-1 on Skype or Zoom, or if there are a group of you who want to do the course then I can teach groups too in 1 or 1.5 hour classes following the structure of the 8-week course. I am used to teaching online and find it's just as good as in person. Do drop me a line if you would like to know more or book a place for yourself. I run courses starting January, April and October each year.

Experienced teacher

Like many things, mindfulness is much easier to learn with a group and an experienced teacher. I have an MSc in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and have taught the 8-week course over 100 times to a wide range of people. Many participants have commented on how supportive the group was in their learning. I am fully insured and supervised and follow the Good Practice Guidelines.

Regular mindfulness retreats.

If you have completed an 8-week course in mindfulness practices, it can be helpful to come to one of the retreats to support and refresh your practice (whether you have kept it up or not!) and meet other people who practice mindfulness. I run regular afternoon retreats (one per term) in Brighton, see below for details. Click here to email and book.

£450 for eight 1-hour sessions in person, £350 for a Skype or phone course, with 1-hour sessions, including all course materials.

Booking procedure

When you click here to email me then I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If you're booking on a course then I'll send you a form (not needed for tasters and one-off events). When I receive your form and payment then your place on the course is confirmed. As my courses are often oversubscribed I ask you to do that within a week.

Refunds and cancellations

You will receive a full refund (less £10 admin charge) if you cancel a course more than a week before it starts.

If you cancel less than a week before the start of a course (including after the course has started) then I will not be able to offer you a refund. I may be able to offer you a place on another course without you needing to pay more.

However, if there are exceptional circumstances such as illness, I will offer you a place on a subsequent course or refund you half of the course fee.

Course cancellations

On rare occasions I have to cancel under-subscribed courses. As I often get late bookings I make this decision as late as possible.

If I do have to cancel, I will give those booked two days notice by phone and a full refund.
